What the film says
- Everything starts by keeping time.
- Keeping time is the method. Weekly deliveries, fixed scope and price.
- Tuning until the noise is gone. Measure, compare, correct.
- Artificial intelligence, software and product, brand and design, performance and compliance.
- Rhythm and pitch, together: music.
- Kalacala. Technology, tuned.
A brand film written like a score
36 seconds of motion graphics for Kalacala, generated with code: the picture frame by frame, the sound synthesised from the same score. In three languages and three formats.

The studio's name was already a score: KA·LA·CA·LA, four syllables, four beats. The A is shaped like a metronome, and A is also a note — the 440 Hz A an orchestra tunes to. The film tells that and nothing else: rhythm, pitch, and the music they make together.
There is no After Effects project and no stock music. One file — the score — says what happens on every beat at 112 BPM; picture and sound both read it, so they cannot drift apart.
How it's made
One file is in charge. Seventeen bars at 112 BPM: where each movement starts, the curve the note is tuned along, the four chords and the melody. Change it, and picture and sound change together.
Every frame is a function of time. Drawn on canvas inside headless Chrome: 1,093 frames per version, computed rather than keyframed. The logotype comes from the same geometry as the website.
Synthesised from the score. The beating at the start is real: two notes, at 440 and 444 Hz, tuning until they sound as one. Then four chords — F, Dm7, B♭maj7 and C6 — one per discipline, each with the tuned A inside it.
Recomposed, not cropped. The vertical cut is not the landscape one resized: headlines fit each language, and everything you read stays inside Instagram's safe area.
A room of its own. Served from our own domain, with no third-party player. The controls are the film's score: four movements as chapters and seventeen bars. Nothing downloads until someone presses play.

What nobody shows
The first cut ran sixty seconds and the tuning grated. Both notes carried harmonics, and harmonics beat too — at twice and three times the speed — right where the ear hears roughness. It was rebuilt with pure sine waves, the second note quieter, and a 4 Hz beat instead of 8: now you hear a sway that fades. And twenty-four seconds went: four disciplines are four bars, not eight.
There is a detail nobody will notice that took longer than any effect: the A is drawn from its apex down both sides at once. Drawn like the glyph, which starts at a corner, the corner was missing until the last frame and then snapped in. That is why the metronome's rod rises exactly where the two halves meet.
